Participants will experience how annotated bibliographies can make reading and citing multiple information sources easier for students while meeting California Standards for Reading and Writing. This session includes a reading and writing demonstration to show how teachers and students can use annotated bibliographies in conjunction with word processing applications, such as Google Docs, to create whole-class generated writing samples and pre-writing notes for a variety of writing tasks. This session will also demonstrate how Google Apps (specifically Google Docs, Google Sites, and Google Classroom) can help organize lessons, activities, and resources. The activities in this demonstration can be adjusted to nearly any grade level and content area. If time permits, the presenter will also provide some direct support related to questions about Google Docs, Google Sites, and Google Classroom.
