An hour a week may seem like a small amount of time, but in that hour, students can powerfully build on skills from all content areas by completing a self-directed project based on their passions. Students plan, investigate and present, while creating blogs, surveys, Padlets ... The options are literally endless. I'll share insights from my AP English Language students' recent Genius Hour projects and all resources used.
